Supervision Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

I am Certified Schema Therapy Supervisor & Trainer by the International Society of Schema Therapy. Also, I have been trained in group supervision of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Children & Adolescents at the Institute of Behavior & Research Therapy, Athens.<\/p>\n

I undertake the clinical and psychotherapeutic supervision of psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, who are trainees or have trained on the psychotherapeutic models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Schema Therapy. I undertake the supervision of cases of Children, Adolescents, & Adults as well as of Parents\u2019 Training & Counseling. Currently, I collaborate as Supervisor with the Institute of Behavior & Research Therapy, Athens and the Rakhaway Institute for Training & Research, Egypt.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Clinical Supervision<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Clinical Supervision constitutes an integral and necessary part of the professional development of a mental health specialist. Throughout the clinical supervision, the supervisor and the supervisee collaborate, in order for the supervisor to guide and lead his\/her supervisee in order to understand in a deeper level his\/her own patients, the clinical diagnosis, the clinical features and the therapeutic approach that he\/she has been trained on. The supervisor supports his\/her supervisee in forming the case conceptualization, in order to be able to construct and support the therapeutic plan. Depending on the therapeutic approach (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy) that the supervisee is trained, the focus is based on the therapeutic techniques correspondingly. The clinical supervisor supports his\/her supervisee to conceive his\/her \u201cblind spots\u201d that get triggered during the therapeutic process with his\/her patients. The main aim is the support and the guidance of the supervisee in such a way that he\/she will be able to work psychotherapeutically with as much security and confidence as possible, leading to the most appropriate and best therapeutic results for his\/her patient.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
